A Romance Novel

I’ve been told that I view love & relationships like a fairytale, but I think it’s more of a warmly written romance novel. A book filled with passion, and fire, and understanding, and growth, and a lot of sex, with compatibility, and chemistry, and most of all… Love.

For many years I’ve been told that. A bit dramatic, even a bit philosophical, but really more just me being in tune with my emotions and needs. Always authentically myself in how I view the world, and most importantly how I view Love.

At first, I thought it was a problem, but then I remembered that I’m a Poet (too). You can’t expect me to view the world in your simple colors when I can view them in endless shades of warm words and soft beautiful emotions.

Vulnerability is always on the menu.

It makes it all worth living.

Seeing the world in my version of a romance novel means knowing that if I don’t settle for just any type of love, while I continue to develop and understand myself, it will feel like something I’ve never felt before. It will finally feel effortless.

A great many people view love as a commodity. Only so much to recieve, only so much to give, all of us needing it in varying amounts. I view love as a river. The volume doesn’t matter, just the source and the destination and the bends in the river we create. Your piece was inspiring. Thank you.

Very powerful words with such a beautiful message! Love is always a two-way shifting river of give and receive, and you expressed that layered struggle so perfectly ❤
