Part of becoming aware is understanding what we’ve done.
Growing through experiences, and maturing through reflection.
Throughout our early stages in life, we aren’t fully aware of our actions and how they affected others,
let alone how they affected us.
Our words were loaded
Our anger pistols
Our dismissive attitude and self-absorbed ways were blackholes of intolerance because anything outside of us didn’t exist.
As I mature through my writing and reflection, I am now awake enough to understand that I’ve hurt many intentionally, as well as unintentionally. But most of all I’ve learned to apologize.
I apologize if my inability to fully express my emotional needs caused you pain, I never aimed for toxic, but sometimes that’s what’s meant to happen.
Understand that I’m not the same girl, but am an entirely different woman.
Understand that I’ve taken each lesson and grown from it for my own ability to love healthy
for my own ability to not hold in negativity but only love.
