Slow Walk Home

“Take Care” – Taken by Gabriela A Tejada

I felt though what vibrated off of your soul and into my pores, I felt each drop penetrating my hard walls of fear, each vibrating wave coursed through my fingertips to the center of my being as your eyes held me afloat.

I guess I felt it too hard because I became addicted, needy for a hit of your drug in order for my survival, completely erasing the person I built from the dirt up, trough the grieving  process of past pains.

I gave you every ounce of me for just an ounce of you but was left to battle withdrawal when there wasn’t any more left.

The process of falling in and right through the other side is never fully explained, I guess the narrator got lost on his way to the other side, or maybe went insane. Traveling that far into one’s deepest point is unexplainable by words and actions, only understood as we stand alone in the dark. Tragedy.

We walk away never fully knowing the whole truth, in hopes that our hearts can survive the slow walk back to reality.
